XD here's a new character for you guys, my fursona, Ice's, twin Fire. The two are also known as Xar (Ice) and Zith (Fire). The two are identical as humans, the only difference being Ice's longer hair, though as wolves the two are different colors. The ice-blue is Ice's aura, or soul, while the red around Fire is his soul. Ice's soul is pressing in on Fire's...

They were originally born into a small tribe of shifters who thought that twins were an omen of death. Though the leader of the tribe at the time allowed the twin's to live he executed their parents leaving the two twins to live on their own with no help from the other members of the tribe who hated and shun the two because they thought that if they talked or befriended them that the gods would give them bad luck. As the two grew up they relied on each other to survive, often saving each other's lives. They used their human form a lot and Ice, Xar at the time, kept her hair short so that if anything bad happened to Fire, Zith at the time, Xar could take his place and take the blame for him. Though they were the same in many ways as humans Xar was slightly slimer and shorter and her personality was drastically different from Zith's. As the twins turned 15 years old the old tribe chief died and the new one told them that they had to perform a task to be able to remain in the tribe. He sent the two out to assassinate a dark wizard who had been using black magic to kill the earth and wildlife in the area. When the two arrived Xar charged into the wizard's home recklessly and the wizard zapped her with a spell that greatly injured her both physically and mentally, though ironically he died casting the spell. Zith quickly brung her back to the tribe and Xar lay in the small medicine hut for over a week before the tribe's healer told Zith that though her body had healed her soul had been damaged. Zith stepped forward and offered to share half of his soul with Xar so she would live, this could only work because they were twins and were so alike, normal siblings would have been helpless in the situation. After a long, painful procedure involving much magic Zith was anchored to Xar spiritually and his soul filled in the spaces of Xar's soul there were missing, one of them being her gender. In result of this Xar became stronger and slowly began to mentally think she was a male, eventually even bandaging her chest down and wearing baggy mens' clothing.

Throughout the next few years Zith and Xar became seperated by a war in which Xar served as a beast, which was a fighter who fought in animal form, and Zith was chosen as a warrior, which was a fighter who simply fought as a human. The two were seperated though because of their linked souls they could still communicate with one another though it took lots of concentration, making it impossible for them to speak if one was in a battle at the time. Though Zith wouldn't tell her Xar's own soul was slowly beginning to restory itself though because Zith's soul was merged with Xar's, Xar's own, more rebellious and powerful soul, was slowly beginning to drain away Zith's soul...eventually it would kill him. For over a year Zith struggled against his own beloved twin's soul until one day he was racked with a tremor as the twin's souls clashed together while he was in the middle of a battle. While this was happening to him an enemy warrior ran him through the stomach with a sword, killing him. Once she found out that her twin had died because of her Xar was struck with extreme grief though rather than letting that grief turn into the need for revenge or anger she turned that grief into the drive to help others.

Exactly a week after Zith's death Xar left the tribe, giving herself the name Ice, and began traveling. Through her travels many young children began to accompany her and she always stopped to help defend others when and if she could, she didn't want anyone to experience the grief of the loss of a loved one like she did ever again. One day an assassin attacked two twins, a girl and a boy who reminded Ice of herself and Zith painfully. Driven with grief and rage Ice through herself in front of the twins, though because she wasn't fast enough to attack the assassin she simply took the killing blow meant for the two children, bringing the assassin down with a beast swipe as she fell. After death the god's honored her and granted her a second life...though what she is in that life is really a mystery.
