Caine Mallory
"I'm a little bit off today, something down inside me's different."
| ✓ Positive | ✗ Negative | ☐ Neutral | ♛ Trusted/Friend | ♟ Enemy | ♥ Significant Other |
Ronan Fenn {✓}
Caine swore an oath to protect the crown long ago and will honor that
pledge until his death. Unlike Bennet, Caine hasn't had too much personal
interaction with the new king, however he is inclined to trust and protect
him without much question.
Bennet Fenn {♛}
Having trained side by side and gotten into some number of shenanigans
together, Caine shares a strong friendship with Bennet. The prince
helped him recover after his injury when others seemed to turn away.
Caine trusts Bennet with his life, but has grown wary of his interaction
with the Eathe's.
Moriah O'Malley {✓}
Normally, Caine would have had very little interaction with Moriah.
Their duties are separate and he would generally only pass her in transit.
However, since she has taken to sending him treats here and there, he
can't help but appreciate her gestures and grow interested in actually
getting to know her. He looks forward to her gifts with uncharacteristic
glee.
Edelheide Fenn {✓}
Edelheide is someone that Caine would happily fight beside. Though
she is a princess and that does indeed sway his trust in her favor, he
greatly respects her willingness to take matters into her own hands.
In time, he hopes that he can grow comfortable enough to know her as
a friend rather than just a royal.
Joan Payne {♛}
In the begginning, Joan was somewhat of an annoyance. She was
always just a bit too nosey about his personal life. But,
somehow, after years of her hanging around the kennels she wore
him down and a friendship blossomed. He enjoys her conversation
and is grateful to have such a bright soul hanging around when she
comes to help.
Leon Hillith {☐}
Christopher Belmont {☐}
Tarner Eathe {✗}
When something is wrong we tend to feel off, something in our gut
screams fight or flight, and this is the feeling that Tarner brings to
Caine and his hounds. Caine doesn't trust him and he can tell for
sure that the feeling goes both ways. He is dangerously curious as
to what makes the other man so off-putting.
Svala Holt {✗}
Something about Svala immediately makes Caine defensive. The way
she sizes everyone up as though she is hunting them sends a chill
down the old soldier's spine. Even his hounds seem to react to her
demeanor. He avoids her smithy as much as possible.
Sersha Eathe {✓}
Caine appreciates Sersha's general excitement and positive spirit;
for a gloomy houndmaster her high spirits can add a bit of light to
his day. He respects her continued service to the crown and has
little reason to distrust her.
Arlo Eathe {✓}
There isn't too much to say about Arlo. The pair interact
frequently due to Caine's need for scrap meat to keep the hounds
fed, but outside of business contact is limited. The man is
friendly enough and provides a needed service which Caine
respects.
Damien Drake {♛}
Damien is like a brother to Caine. The guard captain helped him
land his position as a kennel master after his injury and has
constantly been a shoulder to lean on. For some reason, though,
his dogs really dislike the man...
Cian Ruane {✗}
Jason Mormont {☐}
Anymore, Caine has little need for a blacksmith and as such
has had very limited interaction with Jason. He's passed him
in the streets and he seems to be a likeable guy.
Freyja Payne {✓}
Freyja was present for the hardest moments of Caine's life.
While she was still learning when his injury occurred, he
respects and appreciates her dedication to helping those
in need.
Gehuil Asenah {☐}
