gecko/lizards are constantly being killed and hunted, they might be scaled but they are dwindling in numbers. When was the last time you saw one 'ey? In a zoo being mistreated? On the side of the road hurt?

There actually arent many lizards being 'hunted', with the exception of invasive species. Environmental impacts such as global warming and deforestation for agricultural ground as well as the notorious exotic pet trade are the top reasons for endangered lizard species.

But you are completely right. Here in germany we only have few reptiles and all of them are endangered, it sucks.
