coat type desired; A light coat (not necessarily white), with dark-ish tips (muzzle, feet, tail). Creams, browns, and greys are mostly what I'm imagining but you can play around with color : )

specific details Short chin-length dark fluffy or curly hair. A small scar on their cheek, and a crescent moon tattoo on one of their ankles. I'd like them to be an old English-style unicorn like the ones from old fairytales! (Fluffy hoofs, long slender tail with a long-haired tail tip, but no beard)

Merlin is a freelance adventurer of a sort.
They frequently seek out old magical artifacts from tales circulating around the country, and often find them. Although on occasion the artifacts end up being cursed or the place harboring the artifacts are protected with traps and he ends up getting hurt, in fact that's how he got the scar across his cheek when he was younger. Though he mostly gets the tales of long-lost artifacts through word from the other ponies most of the actual clues to the whereabouts come from the animals he encounters on his journeys. On one particular adventure to find a lost helmet of a mystic giant he met a young raven with tales of old and promises of devotion if Merlin would help free the raven's family from a trapper that took his family, of course Merlin freed them , and now the young raven follow Merlin wherever he goes and helps in any ways he's able to.

Personality-wise Merlin is a very reserved pony, but that doesn't mean they're not a friendly pony. Always curious and just HAS to know why and how certain things work. Can be investigative to a fault. Frequently doesn't get social ques and is often out of the loop of what other ponies do. Romance is something very complex with Merlin as while yes, he does feel attraction towards some ponies, he also knows his life isn't a kind of life most ponies would like to be a part of.
