I think for me, trauma and abuse has changed my way of calculating how bad off I am in the moment. Ive started to study myself as I've grown older. Someone might ask me if I'm ok, and my brains first question is "Is anyone dying? Am I dying?" if the answer is "no" then yes, I'm fine.

Its okay to be this way <3 But please try to remember your feelings, emotions, thoughts, and daily physical activities play into if you're okay by majorities standards. If you're having bad thoughts, aren't eating enough or eating too much, are being verbally or physically abused, aren't getting enough sleep at night, are feeling overly anxious, depressed, or angry... There is a chance you might not be okay after all, and its okay to not be okay uwu
