prompt:

A countershading gene for eumelanin adds dilution to a specific area (black to blue/liver to isabella, underneath on the inner legs, belly, inner ears and back leg fluff at the max). [D locus, if homozygous affects isabella and blue dogs to have even paler undersides]
      the cream in this image
the blue belly on this wolf
the lighter blue on this cat (a good example of what this dilution extension could look like on an already blue dog)

Splash like on horses! White starts on the back paws and can creep up along the hind legs/hips to about the mid flank. Can show on the front legs, too. [S locus]

Dark speckles, like the opposite of ticking. A scattering of black spots most focused on the rump and tail but can extend to the flanks and the top of the legs. [Not sure of the locus, maybe E locus, as a weird form of masking?]

"Raccoon" - A mask marking as seen on the faces of raccoons: example 1, example 2. It would appear on the E locus

"Hooded" - As seen in hooded rats, the head, neck, shoulders, and the top of the back are colored while the rest is white. Example 1, Example 2. The stripe on the back isn't always solid or in a straight line. Sometimes it can be a bit more jagged in appearance or be interrupted by white. Example 1, Example 2. Would appear on the S locus

"Spotted skunk" - Large, wavy streaks of white as seen in spotted skunks. Example 1, Example 2. S locus

Clouded leopard markings My first thought was that it could fit on the K locus as a modified brindle type, there are some with complete markings and some with less, so maybe KlKl (i just used l for leopard xD) is the more complete markings and Kl_ the more open markings? Complete Open

Chevron - This marking results in inverted "v" shapes, most typically placed on the face, over joints, and along the top of the tail. Should be on the A locus.

Dipped - Marks the lower regions, specifically the legs, belly, and chest. Does not include any part of the face or tail. Similar to the black area on a red panda. Should be on the E locus.

Reverse Piebald - The typical piebald pattern is reversed with white spots on a colored body. Would be placed on the S locus.

Tiger Striping - This is different from brindle because there are less stripes, they are much thicker, and there are "open places" on the face (rather than being concentrated on the face) as well as open places around the shoulders and paws. These are all areas where brindle tends to actually concentrate in dogs, so the effect is basically a reversal of what would typically be seen. Should be on the K locus.

Checkered - Markings of any color other than white, which concentrate around the eyes and ears, as well as in a solid stripe going down the back/tail. Similar to this example. May or may not have other isolated groups of spots, especially near the hind legs. On the S locus.

Dun - Dark markings around the muzzle, ears, and tail. Stripes on the legs, and a dorsal stripe down the back. Located on the A locus.

Remember to specify where that would be located in the geno! tell me about the markings and make sure they already aren’t in the species!
