Prompt: The odd markings Orion has on their pelt are a result of blessings from The Pack of Stars, or so it is believed. When born, Orion was a small, weak, jet-black wolf. Their legs did not function correctly, meaning they were not able to walk for a decent amount of their puphood. However, one night, the Pack up above saw the young pup struggling. Feeling guilted, the leader gave Orion the ability to run faster than all the others in the pack. They also developed a strong, white pigment in their fur to remind them of the blessing they were given.

gracious was touched by the wisps as a pup. her mother and two siblings died when she was born, and she believes that they touched her as a reminder of her shame— she was the lone survivor of her family. but most don’t see it that way. the pack sees it as a parting gift, something to remember them by. to this day, no one truly knows why she got them, as she was born solid black.
