A week ago, the yard pictured in this scene was buried in three feet of snow - you could see the paths dug out to get around, and the holes in the massive drifts that were the snow fort.
Then, this past week, we hit a warm spell.
And now, of course, the temperature has dipped back into the twenties, so we have tiny patches of snow that simply refuse to melt.
Don't you love what the grass looks like after it's been hibernating for months?
