Echo’s family always lived by the sea. They seemed very attuned to the water and its creatures. Some called them sirens or water spirits because of these uncanny abilities. Who knows, maybe there’s some truth to the rumors. Though she has left home to explore new places, Echo’s will always be connected to the sea.

The safety of the home-tree felt like a warm hug. It kept them safe. It provided a home. The branches reaching for the sky and spread over the hollow made for excellent climbing practice for trainees and safety for those who live under it's limbs. The roots connected them to the world. Keeping them together.
