"I want to see life through your eyes." He said.
Companion was always thinking of others, taking care of them and listening to their problems. He loved to support his pride, and most days were the same as the last. But when Sova came through the portal everything was different. But at the same time, not. Nothing had actually changed in the valley, but it was as if he was seeing everything for the first time as he gave her a tour of the Vale and saw the peace and wonder wash over her.
"This place, your home, it's so beautiful. Everything is at peace with one another, everything in balance." Sova said as the two came to one of the Vale's springs. She sat down near the water's edge, looking into the spring. "It feels like a dream. I've always been running. Out there, even when there was a bit of rest I knew it wouldn't last. But here, why, your home feels so different. You don't have to run or hide." She said in a gentle tone, as if the peace was so fragile if she spoke too loudly it would shatter "It can be your home too," Sova saw Companion's reflection in the water as he sat down next to her, "if you want it to be..." Sova looked at him, almost unable to belive it, but when she looked into his eyes she knew he spoke the truth. She was home.
And although they had only spent the one day together, she couldn't help from feeling, maybe... maybe he was her home too. And perhaps Companion found his own as well, someone to show him his world from a new point of view.
