Hoofprints are like life. They are an imprint as memories are, that show where you’ve been. And eventually, that sand drifts over them, concealing that they were ever there. All good things become gone, but not forgotten.

Welcome to Hoofprints! A HARPG about wild horses. In this RPG there are four biomes: Pinewood, Deeplake, Redmesa, & Stormsea. When you begin, you will choose one of these biomes to start your herd in. Once you choose your biome, you may not change it! Once a month, an occurrence happens! Occurrences are little messages that are posted on the main thread. These messages are updates on your biome! It could be a storm, or an earthquake, a plague, etc. It may bring you fortune, or misfortune

Now that you know the basics, scroll down to summon your founder and start a herd!

In the Redmesa biome, a howl is echoing. A coyote, but it must be far away..

In the Deeplake biome, a flash of green swirls through the water. A crocodile! Your herd shouldn't leave the island until July 1st

In the Pinewood biome, thunder booms. A storm! Better stay sheltered until the July 1st!

In the Stormsea biome, nothing happens!

Getting started

As you complete the steps, fill out the form at the bottom of the page!

Step 1: To start playing, you'll need to start a herd! To do this, you must make a thread on either CS, Toyhouse, or Weebly. This should have all your horse's information updated. The info that must be included are: Phenotype, Eye Color, Name, Gender & Breeding Slots. Every horse has 5 breeding slots each. More can be obtained through trades, or events.

Step 2: The next step is to choose the biome of your herd's territory! You must choose form one of the game's four biomes: Pinewood, Deeplake, Redmesa, & Stormsea.

Pinewood is a large deciduous pine forest.

Deeplake is an island in the middle of a huge shimmering lake, clear as glass.

Redmesa is a vast rocky land of desert plants and gorgeous sunsets

Stormsea is an endless shore, with beautiful ocean access

Step 3: Now that you have a herd thread, and a biome chosen, it's time to get your founder! Every herd needs it's leader! You can get a founder through the form at the bottom of the post. You may not participate in any adopts until you have your founder!

Pinewood

This biome consists of millions of pine trees, and the constant sounds of wind in the trees! It is very remote and beautiful, but it is more dangerous than the other biomes due to it's abundance of wolves, which can kill your horses. So stay alert! This biome is safer than the other biomes because it is large, and easy to hide in. It is also easy to see refuge from storms.

Deeplake

This biome is a semi-large island in the middles of a crystal-clear lake. It is popular for swimming, and more dangerous than the other biomes because of its susceptibility of flash floods. It is safer, because the water to drink is nearly infinite.

Redmesa

This biome is a vast red, rocky landscape with desert plants and sunsets that are to die for. It is more dangerous than the other biomes due to its shocking heat levels, but safer due to the fact that it has very little predators.

Stormsea

This biome is on a seemingly endless sandy shore, with dolphins that dance in the water. Its dangers include hurricanes and marine predators, but its safeties include there being no land predators.

-Mules are incredibly rare, and each artist can only make one each month. Your monthly custom can only be a mule once
