This is a Chihuahua male named Chico. This was last week’s OC and I’m really excited to have him. Fun fact is Chihuahua’s only grow to a “huge” height of 5 to 8 inches and don’t exceed 6 pounds. They are believed to be deprived from a mute, small dog named a Techichi that the Toltec people owned in 9th century AD. Chico in Spanish means small, boy or child which is ironically what this little guy is. He is a small boy. Chico’s breed was named after the Mexican state of Chihuahua. This is such a nice breed and they are so cute in there little bodies. They are super delicate dogs and I think that they are quite a bit to handle with there high energy and loud high pitched barks.
