I decided to make myself a chart and swatches for all the colors their spots can turn. I'm not sure yet what some of them mean but I know I want all of them to be possible.
Pale Yellow- Neutral || Bright Yellow- Happy || Light Blue- Sad
Dark Blue- ?? || Purple- Excited || Green- Envious/Jealous
Yellow Green- Disgust || Pale Pink- Embarrassed || Bright Red- Angry || Dull Red- In love
Orange- Hungry || Grey- ?? || Tan- Ill || Black- Depressed
I know I want one of these to be for when they're feeling ill (which I know isn't am emotion but shhh)

Brown could be uneasy/queezy/ill? Black couple be,, depressed? Maybe white could be excited/bubbly? Hope it's OK I commented ♥

My friend on discord ended up suggesting disgust as an emotion and I decided to add another shade of green to cover that.
I changed my mind about Grey being Excited and moved Excited to Purple.
