Avolire Horses

The Avolire is a relatively new horse breed with the Iberian Warmblood, Andalusian, Lusitano and Spanish Mustang making up its bloodline. Originally bred in Spain, this breed has quickly made its way across the globe. They have a height range of 15hh to 17hh. Horses shorter or taller than this range are not desired and are not used for breeding.

Avolire horses excel in dressage and are rarely bought for any other use. With large, expressive movements paired with the ability to collect and shorten, these horses are ideal for the dressage arena. Short backs and strong quarters allow for powerful, flowing gaits that have a good natural rhythm.

These horses are very carefully bred in order to retain their quality and natural talent.

Rules

➣ All CS rules must be followed. This applies to Discord too.
➣ Users will not be added to their horse's original reference.
➣ As this is a closed species, they must be linked back to if taken offsite and cannot be sold, given away or traded offsite.
➣ A complete and updated storage page is mandatory to breed and compete your horses. This can be done offsite on websites such as Toyhouse.
➣ Line edits to the original art is forbidden.
➣ Horses must only be sold for CS pets, items of C$.
➣ Ownership changes in any form must be stated on the horse's page and both parties must mention this to the archivist to ensure all horses are correctly documented.
➣ Any rude behaviour will not be tolerated and Avolires will be rehomed if it persists.

Common: Chestnut, Black, Bay, Flaxen, Sooty, Grey, Seal
Uncommon: Champagne, Pearl, Single Cream, Silver, Gulastra Plume, Pangare, Tobiano, Dun, Appaloosa, Birdcatcher Spots

Stats

Some competitions will rely on the stats of your horse. Each horse will be given base stats that can only be changed in a few ways. Imports will have slightly higher stats than regular adopt horses, which will have no higher stats than 4. Stats will range from 0 to 10, with 0 being poor and 10 being perfect.

These are the following stats:

Gelding

The main ways to change a horse's stats is to geld a stallion. This will randomly increase each stat by 1 or 2 points. However, that horse will no longer be able to breed. The form to geld your stallion must be posted on their original reference page for it to then be updated by the artist.

Tack

Tack is necessary in order to compete.
➣ For regular dressage competitions, all leather must be either black or shades of brown and the saddle pad should remain a solid colour or have simple designs (stripes, spots, ombre or faded colours etc). We don't want to distract from the horse during such elegant competitions!
➣ Tack is free to add onto your horse and will be added onto a separate reference.
➣ Horses with tack that don't meet the standards will be disqualified, along with horses that attempt to compete with no tack.
➣ Please post the form on your horse's page for the artist to then accept & complete.
➣ Please give artists time to complete these as there may be a lot to complete due to tack just be implemented.

Staff Applications

Archivist
1 role available
The archivist will be required to keep the archive up to date and will be responsible for ensuring all horses are recorded and editing any changes of ownership. The archivist must have access to google docs.
➣ Archivists must be active. The archive must be updated at least monthly.
➣ The species owner must be notified if you are going to be away for a long period of time.
➣ The role can be dropped at any time, but I must have a warning to this 2 weeks prior.
➣ Archivists will receive 1 free monthly import up to the rare tier. This can be done by archivists themselves or an artist who is open to doing staff customs.
➣ I reserve the right to decline any applications I do not believe will suit the role.

Artist
∞ Available positions open.
Artists will be responsible for putting out new adopts, accepting breedings and imports if desired.
➣ Artists must be active within the community.
➣ There is no minimum or maximum number of adopts that is required to be created by artists. But you still must be active within the community. The species owner must be notified of any expected inactivity. Unexpected inactivity will lead to a removal of the role without warning.
➣ Artists are not allowed to complete their own breedings and are encouraged to use other artists for imports, however this is not required. Artists can still create their own imports, but still must follow all import rules.
➣ Artists are not allowed to make any line edits. Mane and tail edits are allowed, but must be cleared by the species owner first. Add ons such as animals, flowers etc are allowed but must be cleared by the species owner first.
➣ Artists can receive 1 free import per month up to the limited tier.
