Flitter ferrets are elusive, small mammals mainly known for their wings. But that's not all that makes them special! Their size ranges from the size of a normal ferret, all the way down to the size of a dragonfly! Their tails are much longer than normal ferrets, and their small horns give them a very unique silhouette. Because of this combination of the wings, tail and horns, Flitters are sometimes known as Dragonfly Ferrets, or more simply Dragon Ferrets.

Scientists are unsure exactly where these strange creatures came from, but one thing is clear: these soft babies are known to be quite playful! If you're lucky you may just find one wandering around, looking for a new friend! ♥

Something about them that makes them special: Addison is so named because of the propensity for domestic ferrets to get Cushing's disease (hyPERadrenocorticism), and not the "opposite" adrenal disease, Addison's disease (hyPOadrenocorticism). Addison -- or Addy, for short -- is happy to celebrate her inability to develop any adrenal diseases, as the dragonfly DNA that she, and all Flitterferrets, possess prevent adrenal diseases from manifesting. Addy knows she will live a long, healthy (possibly immortal) life.
