My budgie passed away today.
It was very sudden, last night he was fine and happy according to my family, who was watching him while I attended my classes. I was preparing to come home for the weekend, as I do every weekend, to spend the weekend with him. But I got a call this morning from my mother saying that he had passed overnight. We had him for four years, but he was a rehome who came to us when he was at least already four years old. It still hasn't really hit me that he's gone, the house feels too quiet without his chirping and warbling. I thought I would draw him in his memory, and to help me come to terms with what happened. His presence will be sorely missed, as little as he was, and I just hope we made the latter half of his life as enjoyable and full of love as possible.

my sister had three budgies and they all passed
one green, blue and an albino she named the tea, sky and angel.
i hope all goes well with you and im sorry for our lose
