Sorry for the derpy drawing, it's all I can do for right now. XD
I FINALLY got my first dose of the Pfizer Covid shot! I did research on what different vaccine offered/was best, and went with Pfizer. In my state, they opened up vaccines for my age range, so I was able to get it! Next one is on the 23rd of this month :3
That vaccine is pretty in demand, and I was shocked that I was able to get it tonight. Apparently someone cancelled, so i managed to get in!
For me, this is huge. I can finally sleep at night; ever since the first case was in my country, I was scared. I'm at risk, and catching it would be very... bad for me to say the least. I have a lot of medical conditions that wouldn't go very well with Covid.
I feel lighter, a major weight is lifted off my shoulders. I almost cried in happiness (and still want to I admit) knowing that I'll be protected more from the Virus.
I still won't go without a mask very soon, till herd immunity is reached. I still have some anxiety of still getting it D: (Definition for the term: "Herd immunity occurs when enough people become immune to a disease to make its spread unlikely. As a result, the entire community is protected, even those who are not themselves immune. Herd immunity is usually achieved through vaccination, but it can also occur through natural infection." source in short, more vaccinated people means less covid cases )
But this is a major step, the nightmare is finally over, we'll be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel soon!! :D
Remember to mask up, wash yer paws (um- hands XD), and social distance! And get the vaccine if you can! <3
