So, I've been wanting to make this creature into a species for quite some time-- that is, before I went on hiatus from this site for a little while. I've remade the concept from this headshot (and some other concept art) to be more centered around geckoes/lizards with coat coloration (and sometimes line edits) of various dog breeds. I just need to check for interested individuals who would want to see dog-breed-colored variations of this dog-breed-colored gecko species available to adopt. Maybe if I were to make this an independent species.. hmm.. yes, that sounds okay.. eh, still not sure. I may make free adopts every so often..? I might need some help to decide 😌
If the adoptables weren't free, I'd prefer to change something about them that makes this species not just your average, everyday dog-breed-colored geckoes, like something specific to the species that makes them stand out. Maybe certain occupations/jobs they have, that may or may not be relating to what the dog breed that they're based on is/was commonly used for, with different line edits relating to both the dog breed and the occupation/job? Either way I have an idea-- there could be "poisonous" dog-breed-inspired geckoes that would be brightly colored.. and then I'd also need a good name that refers to what the species is. I'm leaning towards Gekkonilupes, but if anyone has some better name, let me know. Maybe I'd just make it an open species..? I don't know, but I want to make dog-breed-inspired gecko designs from time to time for people to claim for free(?). I'm not entirely sure how to go about this, but if anyone has any suggestions, tips, or ideas, feel free to let me know ^^

About him--
Yes, he is a gecko.. but not just any gecko. He's a gecko that isn't a gecko. How, you ask? Well, he has these markings, yes, these markings.. they make him look like a doberman pinscher more than a gecko, right? So I've decided to keep him as a mascot(?). He's a baker! His name is "I don't have a name". When I asked his name, he said that, so I don't know. I need a name.

I'd most likely be making free/low-cost independent adopts, depending on the work required, and the design.. if enough people are interested. I'm hoping for more than 0 interested individuals 😳 /s
