A floral awakening

A young buck wakes from his winter slumber to find his surroundings coloured with vibrant greens, yellows, pinks and blues - his first spring! As he wanders through the woodland, he brushes through low lying branches, catching leaves and flowers in his antlers and around his neck. He observes a young brown rabbit busily collecting strange eggs covered in foil, "How strange" the young buck thinks to himself. Before he can venture any further, he almost steps on a strange egg shaped object among the ground flowers. He lowers his crown for a closer look, it appears to have ears like a pup and a tail made of twigs and leaves...
