the ^>v thread got me in my feels thinking bout my lil summer camp friends
dont remember a whole lot about them
i had a bunch of disposable camera photos from camp but i havent seen them in ages so idk man
i think maybe summer camp every year was my life at its peak tbh

- first we have bug girl!!
we were the only ones swimming in big t shirts so we kinda sat out every time at the pool
we saved one of those pink lemonade moths from drowning when everyone else wanted 2 kill it
n thats how we became friends ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
she also liked 2 draw n even brought a sketch book so wed pass it back n forth between our bunk beds
she moved to my town n had a MAJOR glo up in high school (she was already cool but u know what i mean ksdjghdsk)
like she became that really cool funky creative vsco girl everyone wants 2 be friends with, so proud of her <33

- next is francisco something something something something something something....we just called him fp usually
thats not even his first name but it was the only one i could remember out of his like 9 middle names
he was my fav i think, he was so freaking funny & now i realize its def bc he had older siblings or smth
reminded me a lot of beast boy but louder and a bit more ~unhinged~

- then its me kjsdfhsdkjgh
brace face + in the long process of growing out my bangs
but i didnt know what 2 do w them so they were just....in my face All The Time

- & last one is idek his name we were kids we didnt ask for names 90% of the time
he got into trouble a lot w the counselors so no one wanted 2 be around him lmaoooo
mostly for wearing a hoodie all day every day in the 900000 degree heat but u do u kid, just drink some water
found him on social media yeeeears after camp n i dont think hes doing too hot these days
but i periodically send him my good vibes anyway

Oooo this is so delightful.... Its so nice that u have fond enough memories of these folks to draw them, years after u went to camp with them It just makes me weirdly happy idk

WAHAHAHAH THANK U!! its just where u leave home n go to a campsite for kids but theres adult counselors n stuff ofc
but its like HUGE u stay in a cabin & get up early cus theres activities 2 do like alllll day
like archery, swimming, boating, fishing, makin food or crafts, horseback riding, it is a very good time
n of course u get some free time in between 2 goof off w the people u meet heheheh

i will take u 2 summer camp rey dont worry....some day.....
