Prompt - The sun was setting and Cylon was finding their way to a safe and sound bed if you could call it that. Their cozy pine needle bed was all they knew of home. They remember having a home at one point, but they know that it is better this way. They had caught a couple of mice, which he had stashed under and between crates in his alley. They ate the mice and watched the sky's color change from a burning blue to a dim purple, going through pinks and reds. They don't fall asleep though, they can't, their eyes form dark spots on their face as they scan the alleyway for other cats, looking to pick a fight. Fighting is what Cylon lives for, they enjoy the heat of the moment, when both hearts are racing, they enjoy looking at their scars and remembering the beautiful battle in which they were won. The one moment of the day that they can properly enjoy, the fighter's sunset. [167 Words]
Bonus Prompt - They don't view their missing eye as a disability, they view it as a trophy, an honor, a success. Their lack of depth perception makes for a loss of fear, a pro in most fights. They can't see how close the claws of the enemy cat are, making everything about the fight, less of speed and more of cunning. Prompt - As a yellow light shone in the dark sky, Flower purred and started to go outside to hunt. Flower loves dawn, she finds it the perfect time to hunt for prey. She only hunts because she finds it fun to bring her catch to the house folk. She likes to roll around in the grass, especially in the summer. The grass at dawn is covered with dew and Flower loves to roll around in the cold, wet grass. Flower sniffed the air, a scent of pigeon in the air. She crouched into a hunting stance, slowly walking to the fat bird. While the bird was picking at a piece of a nut, she pounced. The pigeon was trying to fly, flapping madly. She bit down hard and heard a snap and purred with satisfaction. She looked up at the clouds, the sun was almost in the middle of the sky. She padded to her twoleg and dropped it at his feet. Her house-folk picked her up and stroked her, and she slowly fell asleep, tired from hunting. [Words- 177 ]
