After a long taxing day as a advisor, Rasmus loves listening to music that mentally frees him even if he can’t physically free himself. It also reminds him of a summer he had traveling the pride lands in his youth where he met a lioness and well rather clichely fell in love. When Merlot feels lonely, his favorite way to lift himself up is to listen to music, and what better music is there than the iconic stuff of memery?

His preferred song choices all have one thing in common - they were, at one point, used heavily in various media. With such use, they tend to invoke fun feelings with a hint of nostalgia. Listening to these songs usually causes Merlot to forget he's lonely and, instead, has him laughing from memories he's had seeing these songs here and there.
