The Kija sport cob is a breed originating from the shores and grassy meadows of Ireland, carefully bred between Irish Sport Horses and the Irish Cobs. The kija cob comes in many different colors, and they sport very thick and luxurious manes, tails, and feathers making them very sought out for. Kija's feathering needs to be trimmed often, as it grows at an alarming rate, and even then, kija's often trip over their flowing fetlock fur. These horses are well acquainted to cross-country and other sports such as dressage, show jumping, and even western disciplines! Their sweet (and sometimes goofy) disposition and and athleticism makes them popular among riding schools and training facilities. They are even dubbed "one of the best first ponies a child or teen could have" by breed registries magazine!
