Hello! Welcome to the Huntsmen ( singular - huntsman ) thread!

This is VERY work in progress! please ask if you have any questions!

Huntsmen are an intelligent anthropomorphic canine like species that have evolved to become deadly hunters, hence their name. They average from 8-9 sometimes 10 feet tall! Contrary to popular belief, Huntsmen are not always the violent killers they have evolved to be, one research journal claims they sent a scientist with a cold to a tribe they were studying and to their shock the tribe nursed them back to health before sending them away. Another shocking thing about them is that they are actually omnivores even though their diet consists of primarily meat, females have to eat a certain kind of berry to allow them to have a litter. Though their heads are not attached they still act like they are, they cannot turn their heads all the way around and it will cause pain to them if they try to without turning their body as well. Though some have a stronger flow than others, a goopy liquid constantly drips from their neck. Their mouths are not visible until its opened or until you look at the sides of their heads. They use this to their advantage to frighten pray by revealing rows of sharp teeth, some huntsmen have some sabre like teeth in their mouth and they can be removed but they will grow back like normal teeth

Bright colors are allowed, they just need a camo cloak to be able to better hunt!

Though Huntsmen seem fearless they live in constant fear of the day an imprisoned, stronger subspecies breaks loose

Once you get at least 1 huntsman we ask kindly you make a tribe flag and a character storage thing ( th, cs forum thread, any other means ) for them and any later huntsmen you acquire, this is not punishable by a strike or ban. We just want to have everyone's Huntsmen in one place ( contact mods or the owner if they are transferred )

Our main currency is these lil bones! And our secondary are these lil meat chunks, you can use these to order customs among other things!

Meat chunks can also be transferred for bones, 1 chunk = 5 bones

Fun fact! Zeebo was the first huntsman ever created! The entire species sprung up from one little school doodle i made

Traits resembling other wild canines ( besides domestic dog and wolf. EX - Hyena, fox etc ), 2 sabre teeth, patterns that can move

Extreme Fluff ( usually seen on tundra or arctic dwelling huntsmen ), pillow like tail, Biiig claws

RARE

Eye resembling that of an actual animal

This is what we've got to start with, more will be added!

BREEDING

The process hasn't been recorded entirely, we've only been able to record the first step, the female ingests a ' breeding berry ' and then a single strand of the male's fur, the huntsmen became hostile if we tried to research the other steps. each litter consists of 1-3 pups. You may grow a pup once they've existed for 9 days. Pups cannot hunt without an adult

Breedings currently closed because i need to make nursery lines

It is required you have a male and a female huntsman and one breeding berry.

Even if you jokingly curse a huntsmen, it just might happen. These curses are often painful and take a bit to recover from. Though here its beneficial! you can give your huntsmen traits not on the board!

Curses do not always work, its a 50-50 chance, theres also a 50-50 chance it will pass down to its kin!

This concept is work in progress, so its currently very vague, i will try to flesh it out!
