two years ago, i dressed as greg from over the garden wall, with green shorts, oversized shoes, a collared shirt and suspenders, a tie, a leather fannypack for his bag, and a paper mache teapot on my head. i carried around a rock with a painted face on it and a giant stuffed frog and asked my friends what to name my frog or told them "rock facts" that were just nonsense. one of my siblings was dressed as wirt with a custom-sewn cape and a huge cone hat and it was great

I just had to go with this one! I LOVE Over the Garden Wall and everyone who doesn't know what that show is needs to stop what they are doing and binge the whole thing right now! The fact that you even carried around a rock and a frog made it even better and put a smile on my face! Thank you everyone for sharing your wacky costumes with me! There were a lot of good ones and it was fun to read through <3

And I know nobody asked, but here's my most "creative" costume! I was getting to about that age where you're a little too old to dress up and go trick or treating, so for all of October I was telling everyone I wasn't going to dress up as anything. The night of Halloween, I had a sudden change of heart and realized CANDY IS AWESOME AND I WANT ALL OF IT! So I pulled out my old karate uniform and a werewolf mask from the attic and went as a wereninja :')

I have a BUNCH of leftover tokens that I no longer need! 43 to be exact XD Leave a comment below telling me about your most creative halloween costume! I'll give them all to the one I like the most by the end of the night :)

I went as Clawdeen from monster high one year and it was SO much better than I thought it could be. She was always my fav.

i think mine was sweeney todd two years ago! i got a nice white shirt and tea-stained it (aka boiling it in a pot (not teapot, literal pot) of tea) then painted blood on it. sandpapered it so it had texture... also i sewed an apron out of some faux leather i got + bought a real straight razor. apparently they sell those at walmart so i just... own one now. i was really proud of that costume :D

I've dressed up as Grunkle Stan from Gravity falls for this year! I went to a small Halloween festival, and stayed in character the whole time. Everyone recognized the character and loved the costume! X3

But a few years ago, I used to dress up as signless (What the character looks like) from Homestuck. It was probably the most hands-on costume I've ever created. The horns had to be molded and shaped, the cape had to be hand-sewn, and even a custom shirt made. ^^ It took me two weeks, but I did it in time before a convention started in my area! I wore the cosplay for that Halloween as well.

So for this Halloween, I had about seven different ideas for a costume.
On the morning of Halloween I was like, 'okay, so imma be Eruka the frog from Soul Eater' and I was really excited about it.
Then I bleached my hair.
It actually turned out really awesome, and since I had just started Naruto Shippuden I looked in the mirror and immediately saw Deidara, and I was like 'WOA' and I knew what I needed to do.
My friend lent me a black cloak to represent the ever-famous Akatsuki cloak, I plopped my hair into a high ponytail, threw on some liquid eyeliner, drew mouths on my hands with sharpie and BAM! DEIDARA WAS STARING BACK AT ME IN THE MIRROR. This was my favorite Halloween and costume by far. <3

I think my most creative costume was going as twitter. I can't remember most of my Halloween costumes though. It was a last minute costume made from whatever was left at Walmart. My hair was put in a braid on top of my head (to resemble a nest) and a blue bird was put on it. I had a blue dress on that had #'s and @'s on it
Then fuzzy blue leggings and makeup. It was pretty cringe, kind of cute.

Not mine but someone came to my grandma’s house as a hand sanitizer bottle this year.

Either way, I’ve dressed as my own characters and mostly generic things. Kinda lame.

I am planning my kokichi Oma costume for next Halloween though.
