Prompt: As unlikely as it seems, this spaniel hunts badgers! Much like what dachshunds are used for, she’s sent down the burrow of the animal and sends the animal scurrying out from underground. There was never a fear of Finley getting bit, she's a feisty character, its to no surprise that she puts on quite a show of flashing teeth and barking to scare the badger.

prompt: like most spaniels, charlie is a flusher dog. flushers are trained to locate birds and put them in the air, hard and fast. charlie shines in tighter, heavier cover such as shelterbelts, marshes and dense switchgrass. she particularly specialises in hunting pheasants! her sense of smell sense alerts her to the presence of prey, and she tracks them by following the scent trail. once she's found her bird, she flushes them out into the air.

He tracks down his prey and points to it, then flushes them out when given the correct command via hand signals. He is high energy but incredibly focused. He has the endurence ti track for as long as necessary, though his handler would never force him to track for hours on end. He does well in competitions as well as sport hunts.
