I haven't done much drawing the last few days, so for this drawing, I combined some of the prompts from The Digital Painters Guild challenge. I used day 16 "monstrous," day 18 "starlight," and day 21 "offering."

I am so happy with how this turned out. I was originally going to draw it from the side, but I recently came across the site ranebopets.com and they have a drawing tips/guidelines page that mentioned drawing from more dynamic angles, which is something I don't do nearly enough. So when I realized I was drawing a pretty flat composition, I forced myself to erase my sketch I had started and recreate it this way. It was more challenging, but I'm so glad I did it.

And I love the way the sky turned out! <3

Thank you so much! My shading skills are still not where I would like them to be, but they are definitely getting much better. I've found that drawing night scenes like this helps me a lot.
