im not sure if this is really a part 3 to my little matching words with drawings of their opposites, soooo lets call it part 2.5
my reasoning is just that heartbeat has a complex feeling to me that i cant portray both feelings to in one picture and still depict them as separate emotions. "heartbeat" makes me personally feel happiness and love, because "heartbeat" makes me think of a person that makes me feel those things, so, i drew the opposite of that.
but, "heartbeat" also makes me think of silence and sorrow, like feeling your heart sink; that painful aching in your chest when youre feeling sadness you cant put into words. because of that, i cant quite consider heartbeat to have an "opposite" feeling because the feelings attached to the word can depend on the person, their current headspace, etc etc.
just figured i'd explain myself ahsjajak, this was fun to draw!

Swirlshine wrote:This is so creative and gorgeous?! And your explanation of the word really makes sense - I never thought of it that way before! It’s crazy how some words can give you feelings of both extreme positivity and extreme negativity at the same time.
