Trust is something that is fragile, and in most cases it will leave you with something to be disappointed with.

For instance, Dad promised he'd always be there for me... So why did he leave and cut me from his life.

answer to prompt; Afton had always had high goals, he was always going to be the one on the top, the best in what he chose to do, and he worked for it. He pushed himself hard, kept going when he wanted to take a break, learned everything that he could, pushed himself to his limits and beyond. It was a hard grueling process, but he did it, he reached the top, he had made it! Only when he looked around, there was no one. So driven he had been that he hadn’t thought about the others that he had left behind, that he had pushed through, to get what he wanted. He was finally where he wanted to be, but as he looked at his life, he was disappointed in himself at what he had done to get there, in what he had let happen.
