I like to think my art is improving. it's nowhere near as good as most people's work but just for today I am pleased with it

this piece doesn't happen in canon but I was listening to hadestown again and it inspired me to make a drawing
and this is what happened!

moved onto my ipad and realised how dark the contrast in the background is. my computer made the contrast really obvious, or at least more than it is. for clarification- there is a shadow who the eye belongs to. you can see him here, with a bit of editing. yes, he is rather messy, but I hadn’t the forethought to do him in a light colour then darkening him afterwards. forgive me!
