Separate lines for: body, mane/tail, feathering.
Separate color layers for: body, eyes/hooves, mane/tail, feathering.
Separate shading layers for: body, mane/tail, feathering.
Separate highlight layers for: body, mane/tail.

I altered the proportions a little 'cause it looked a smidge off when I did it right on the sketch lines; hopefully that didn't lose the look you're going for. :)
