raccoontail is rainclan's med cat. she wanted to be a warrior but she had to become a mad cat due to being blind. she was born half blind but the clan leader at the time decided she could still be a warrior. her dream almost came true but on her first day leaving the clan camp as an apprentice she and her mentor ran into a fox, her mentor attacked the fox and chased it off. the fox only got one strike on raccoontail but it was a strike to her good eye. she could still see for a while but her eye soon got infected, leaving her blind. no cat wanted to be responsible for a blind apprentice so she had to become a med app. overtime raccoontail learned how to tell what was what based on sound and smell. she became a great med cat but she still wishes that she could be a warrior.
