Dipped Cone heard the humans exit the house and close the door behind them. Familiar with his sister's antics, he went over to sit in front of a window he'd seen the humans leave open.
Like clockwork, his sister ran over to the window nearly as soon as he'd gotten there. He shook his head and tsked at her. "Not today, you know we aren't allowed to leave the house." He told her. He lifted a paw to stop her if she tried to go past him. She gave him a disappointed look.
"Come on! They must have left it open on purpose!" She whined, trying to sway him. She must have gotten an idea because then she smirked. "I know you want to go out too." She tried, coming up to him. He faltered briefly, he really did want to go outside, and she took this opening to get past him. Only seconds later, she let out a shriek. "Hey! What was that!" He turned around just as she stumbled into him. He wiggled his head to see past her and saw that it was starting to rain. His sister said, with great disappointment, "Another time, I guess..."

Prompt: The black she-cat sat in silence, staring at her sister. The tortoiseshell was being praised again for who knows what. Her green eyes flickered around the room, looking for something to get her human's attention. She spotted a toy. Iif she acted cute maybe she would be praised. Heather bounded over to the toy and started batting it around, glancing to see if her human was looking. She was greeted by an annoyed stare. "Stop it, Heather, you're making too much noise," Her human complained, suddenly giggling at her Heather's sister, who had rolled over. Her sister ran over to her. "Hey Heather! Can I play with the toy?" She asked, tilting her head. She nodded yes and watched as her human oohed and awed at her older sister. Heather sighed, she was always gonna be in her sister's shadow, wasn't she.
