Metalleian Warmbloods, or MWs, are a recently discovered breed possessing several unusual traits not seen in other known breeds. They have robust bodies and refined heads with a straight profile. They usually stand between 15 and 18 hands high. They are very intelligent and tend to form quick, strong bonds with their handlers, making them especially easy to train. Their flashy appearances make them ideal for in-hand showing, but they are highly versatile and can be successful in nearly any discipline.

The Metalleia's coat is short and soft to the touch, and can come in any color of the equine coat spectrum. All patterns and markings have been seen in the breed, and no fantasy colors have been observed as of yet, but geneticists speculate that they may start cropping up in the near future.

The manes and tails of the Metalleia are thick and silky, and they grow very long very quickly. Most handlers don't bother cutting their horses' manes and tails as they usually reach full-length again within the next few days. Some, however, take this as an opportunity to give their horses interesting haircuts for themed competitions as the style is so temporary.

Their hooves and eyes are metallic and will always match in color (as well as their blood, as handlers found out after their horses had received small cuts or undergone surgery and the like), although some colors are rarer than others. This color is known as the horse's metalla. Some horses have mutations that cause metalla that is not, in fact, metallic. These variations are rare mutations and horses possessing them are hard to come by. Metalla may sometimes become tarnished, especially on copper variants, but this does not affect the health of the horse or the integrity of the metal.

General

• Always be respectful of each other and of the staff!
• Follow all CS rules.
• There is no limit on standard adopts! Limits may be put in place for events.
• MWs may be traded for each other or gifted, but they cannot be sold for pets or any kind of currency.
• All art and lore belongs to me, besides other artists’ designs, which belong to them. Theft will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from the breed.
• MWs belonging to banned or deleted accounts will be re-adopted.
• Storage is not required, but it is highly encouraged! It is, however, required for breeding, so please keep track of your horses if you’d like to use that feature.
• You can still use your V.1 and V.2 MWs even for breeding, but they will not be included in the V.3 archive.
• Please PM me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions! I am always open to feedback <3
• Rules specifically pertaining to customs, transfers, and breedings can be found on those respective pages!

Artists

• Artists must make 5 adopts a month, including customs and breedings!
• For standard adopts, horses may only exhibit natural colors and patterns. Please PM me if you’d like approval for an unnatural design!
• All of the metalla on an MW (hooves, eyes, chestnuts, occasional horns or scars) must be the same color unless you’re creating a chimera.
• Artists may add custom edits/accessories to adopts! These may be your choice as part of the adopt or you may indicate in the customization field of the adoption form that you accept custom requests. This is not required!
• Artists must allow adoptees to request customizations for free, but you may choose only to allow basic recoloring if you would rather not do complicated patterns.
• Finished adopts with any tack or accessories besides a halter must include a halter-only reference.
• In this version, artists choose mane/tail styles for adopts! They will not be changed by adoptees.
• Any prompt is allowed, from raffles to art/writing to naming, but adopts may not be sold or auctioned.
• Artists may set their own rules for customs, transfers, and breedings, including payment.
