ocean, coral reefs are bleaching, the environment is scorching the

forest fires, even the
air could kill you.
Coral hopes for a
better future, a better world. One that was just as beautiful as yesterday, one her faunlings can experience, one she can enjoy being in.
________________________________________________________________________________________Extras: Right now, Coral is taking active efforts to clean the oceans. She spends a lot of her time there, picking up stray pieces of paper bags, bottles, things like that. She even saw a little duckling’s neck stuck in a soda can cup holder. She taught herself how to swim and hold her breath underwater for two minutes. She is trying to spread the word to other fauns and learn the language of the deep sea.
You know, she used to be afraid of water. Terrified. Mostly of drowning. Her sister died from it. Coral and Seyshelle shared a room. Coral promised she wouldn’t tell her parents. Seyshelle went for a late night swim, and she didn’t realize how tired she was. Coral did not watch, because she assumed that her sister would be fine, since the faun was an excellent swimmer.
There was another one, Tsunami. Her front legs were broken when a piece of roof fell on her. A hurricane happened in a nearby city, and the tides were humongous. Tsunami got hit by a literal tsunami. She didn’t survive.
Her parents think that it was a curse. To lose two precious, extraordinary fauns over water. They moved far away from any source of water, for fear that Coral, their only child left, would have the same fate as her sisters.
Her parents don’t know about her efforts to clean the ocean and how she spends a lot of time in it. They always assumed she was their perfect little angel, they’d be devastated. Coral goes against their wishes, for the greater good.

Coral. Fauns in the village like Coral, for her efforts, pureness, and innocence. Her name is said warmly, and most love her. Widely known, she loathes and detests this one faun (his name is currently unknown.) They can be seen publicly arguing, and few side with him. He's known as Whisper, since many gossip about him. He is most known for thievery, he robs here and there. Hardly leaves a trace.
Except one spray-painted golden apple. Along with spending time taking care of the marine life, she tracks him down. Her parents think that she's going on dates with a faun, and she wouldn't correct them. Coral would rather have them think that than know what she's really doing.
She tries to stay goodhearted and optimistic all the way, but no faun is capable of that. Whenever she has one of her "moods" she stays hidden.
