so like i am very broke
n ive been doing the bare minimum of tablet research
stumbled across the good ol one by wacom

im just wondering if anyone has experience with this bad boy??
is it cheap* AND sucky???
or is it ok to use for like a year while i get used to tablets lolol

any tips or advice is very VERY welcome :'))

i have a Wacom Intuos Creative Small, its about 6 x 3.7 in and runs around 70-100$US, Ive have had it for a year and it has caused me zeroooo issues. im in love with it, It costs a littleeee more but it does has 4 hotkeys that you can edit,
But for the price i definitely recommend looking into it. ordering from the website itself- it comes with a couple of other programs and they're all easy to install and use. I had everything up and running in about 30 mins.

id recommend all wacom tablets.. i had the actual cheapest one available and it worked fine. did exactly as i wanted it to... so i can only imagine all of their other more expensive products are great.

i think that one is the step up from the tablet i had even so it will be fine! getting a tablet was the best thing i did though.. definitely worth it

I personally don't use a wacom (I have a Gaomon, very very nice) but I have friends who do and they say it's very nice!

it would be my first tablet ever so i wanted something pretty basic??
& for now the only drawing program i'll be using is chickenpaint bc #broke
i like a lot of the "beginner" wacom models bc they seem pretty solid!!
a lot of people have said that they dont find many problems with them which is A+++

im thinking get a cheaper one for starters like for a year or so
then upgrade + get additional programs if i stick with it/have time for digital art??
i mean its been 10 years already but u know what i mean

Some good Free programs are Medibang and Firealpaca btw! Both are compatible with the table since thats what i primarily use to draw on! Your art and style is just so gorgeous already- I cant wait to see what you're able to accomplish with a good tablet!

if you still need help, i would recommend it.

I own it, but personal don't use it, but when i did it wrote/drew smoothly and it was pretty easy to get used to. I was sort of big, so theres lots of space to draw in and was surprisingly sturdy for a "cheap" tablet

ahhh that was actually a concern of mine!!
i was reading the dimensions on some tablets n they seemed small??
but until i see them in person im not 100% sure asfksdkfafj
so thank you!! still pretty set on a wacom from the sound of things hehe
