prompt response: Oni is protective of his mask which is representative of his heritage. His family had guarded the gates to the underworld for eons. After a brutal war he is the only one left. All memebrs of his family would wear masks like his own and even though he doesn't need to wear it anymore, he wears it as a way to honor them. The masks are very rare since only his family could wear them (and Oni is now in possesion of them all) many try to steal them to sell. So he is always taking care of them and guarding the masks.
