some,, crappily drawn and explained tips but here u go. i,, am not the best at explaining but i did,, som e,,

i,, realised i never talked about highlights but i usually,, use white overlay,, and for "sparkles" white round pixelated strokes.
if overlay doesnt work then,, very low add,, not always white.

shading n highlights u really gotta play around with the colours depending on setting, mood, and the colour youre trying to shade,, so putting your shade / highlights on different layers with the transparency locked is useful if u cant get the colour right.

everything is numbered in an order but,, u dont have to go in order?? some things,, may seem half-explained or random if u dont tho,,
