dusk in the city is something one should fear.
During times where the sun is at its lowest before twilight, you can hear the cackling chatter one can only describe as feral. A mixture of fox-like chatter and animalistic laughter.
This is the Aarq mu-h-saw, the city-dwelling scavenger that is most active in dim sunfall.
Not many know of the Aarq mu-h-saw, but many can hear its cries when they forget to bring their garbage in. The creature is often covered in messy grime to help it blend in with the other vermin that search for trash.
It's pelt is painted with many stripes, and they have a darkened mask that matches that of a raccoon, paired with a banded tail. Though despite their raccoon-like size, they can reach the size of a medium dog. Their spine is lined with spikes that resemble those of shark-teeth and cut on contact, matching their three antler-like horns connected to their three goat-like skull.
The rumours of the sounds travel fast when an Aarq mu-h-saw first takes post in an alleyway, but not many see it. Instead, people close their blinds and lock their doors, no one wants to go outside and risk seeing this creature.
Their jaws are equipped with many sharp teeth that could be used for hunting, though they like to go through human refuse for sake of convenience. If removed from the city, they can survive on their own survival instincts.
Anyone who sees the Aarq mu-h-saw, will never forget their soulless golden eyes.
