The night sphinx. She is a difficult to locate being, for all her luminous marks. Most often, the eye-patterned plumes are all that are spotted of her, glowing and menacing in the darkness. Answer her riddle, and she will show you the safest path to the dawn. She cannot venture out of the realm of night, for her true eyes are sensitive, and the heat of the sun would cause her to overheat. The dark and cool night is dangerous, but its denizens know to give her a wide berth if they are unable to answer her riddles.
