Welcome to the Peachie Parakeet nursery! Here, you may breed your Peachiekeets and get Babiekeets! Be sure to read all of the rules and other info before sending in a breeding form~
ʀᴜʟᴇs
➣Any two Peachiekeets may breed, regardless of gender
➣Only post a breeding form when an artist has stated they are open for breedings
➣You are allowed one breeding per month
➣As of right now, you may only win five Peachiekeets and own ten total if obtained through breedings. This limit might be lifted in the future
➣Each breeding will give you 1,2, or 3 Babiekeets, each being a 33.3% chance.
➣Sharing a breeding with someone will always give you 2 Babiekeets, unless specifically stated otherwise
➣When sharing a breeding, you must post proof of the permissions and agreements when you post your breeding form
➣Artists may charge for breedings (C$ or DA Points) or do them for free, the choice is up to them
➣Growths of Babiekeets must be posted at the same time as the bunch
ɢᴇɴᴇᴛɪᴄs
➣Be sure to look through all of the info on the Genetics post on the main thread for a better understanding
➣There are three colorations of Peachiekeets (Standard, Violet, and Grey) and five patterns (Standard, Opaline, Single Spangle, Double Spangle, and Rainbow)
➣Any design may have piebald, but one parent must have it to pass down to Babiekeets
➣Designs are semi-realistic Budgie designs
➣The color of the nose will always be either pink, tan, blue, purple, or brown
➣You have a 1% chance to get a chimera with each breeding! If a number generator rolls the number 73, you get a chim!
➣Milestone designs cannot be passed down (Albinism, melanism, other bird designs)

➣Standard + Grey may produce Violet
➣Standard + Single Spangle may produce Opaline
➣Single Spangle + Single Spangle may produce Double Spangle
➣Yellow Single Spangle + White Single Spangle may produce Rainbow
➣Light Pie + Heady Pie may produce Medium Pie
