reason: Hmm, maybe because he was named after a character from it. Another possibility is because he actually looks like Mufasa. The characters, the story, the plot, the climax; it all adds up to one great movie.

Reason:

Darva finds the movie particularly inspiring, but sad as well. After the main character, Charlie, cheats death itself and becomes immortal, he meets back up with his best friend, Itchy, and plots revenge on his killer, Carface. Though in the process, he kidnaps a young girl, Anne-Marie, for her ability to speak to animals. Though despite only using the little girl for her ability, he promises her to use the money to feed the poor and find her a family. Upon the discovery that Charlie and Itchy were only using her, she threatens to leave– but to persuade Anne-Marie to stay Charlie brings pizza to a family of poor puppies and their [adopted] mother, Flo. Soon the the two go on an insane adventure, and Charlie begins to develop a love for the little girl along the way. Though, Charlie has to leave for heaven once again, leaving both Anne-Marie and his best pal Itchy behind. But, he’s allowed to visit her and say his tearful goodbyes. But I’m summary, the movies teaches one about friendship, kindness, loyalty, and love. And although there are many movies that teach the same thing, Darva finds the particular movies special due to having used animals to display the plot. It’s a movie she’s watching since she was little, and she grew up the way she is due to the movie. The movie taught her to be kind and that using someone will only get everyone hurt.

reason: Ylaine enjoys fantasizing about the world. She loves books and stories, and she finds dancing around the wildflowers amongst the bees and butterflies absolutely freeing. Heavenly Creatures is Ylaine's favourite movie as it's a rather dark depiction of something she often dreams about. Thinking out fantastical stories and then visiting them like some false second life, the romance and the longing. She finds it a nice balance between feel-good and feel-bad, the dark horror scenes make the rest of the movie so ethereal. Ylaine also finds it interesting that it's based on a true story - It's an odd plot for sure, so the true story must've been even more intriguing!
(I tried to keep this vague in case anyone would like to watch it - I highly recommend it for those who are of the right age ^^)

reason: People tend to question her as to why she enjoys a movie about tornadoes, why she would rewatch it.. over and over to the point she knows every single bit of the movie. She enjoys the story from the moment it starts, every moment of the movie brings smiles and giggles to her. But it is not just the movie its self that fascinates her, Harding is obsessed with the weather, she loves to study tornadoes and hurricanes and anything else she can find books on, But no matter what she douses she always returns to rewatching her favorite movie over and over again.

reason: Manda is a fan of all horror movies, but she loves Annabelle specifically, because of the real doll it's based on. The original Annabelle is an old Raggedy Ann doll. The original story of Annabelle is fascinating to her. Even after the doll was contained (shown in the above picture) she still caused incidents. While the movie changed the story quite a bit, she still loves the fact that it's based on a real story.

reason:“Honey I Shrunk The Kids” Is a disney classic and one of Wasp’s favorites! He enjoys everything about it from the plot to the characters. Wasp especially enjoys the scenes with the massive bugs. Wasp also enjoys the fact that the movie isn’t your standard old animated Disney movie, it’s mostly live with actual actors instead of animated. This movie does have poor special effects compared to what we have now, but he thinks that it’s still good and aged well. His personal favorite part is where they ride on giant bees. Wasp normally watches this movie when he needs comfort, because the exciting and wild adventure these characters go on amuses Wasp every time. (115 Words)
