made a few traditional concept sketches for these guys like two years back and now, this morning, out of nowhere I really wanted to fix 'em up a bit.
they have teeth, kind of like ducks and geese do inside their beaks, their human arms and bird wings are connected through both muscles and skin but bones are separate for both so in theory you could deparate wings and arms through surgery and come out with everything working still?? most bones are "hollow" like on a bird but these guys will be able to glide at most because of added weight from the human parts and their wings being too small. no hair, feathers only. big toe becomes hind toe/talon. ears tiny but bigger than normal bird earholes. included some very badly drawn, slightly inaccurate bone doodles to show all the interesting stuff I guess ^^""
