Prompt: Dionysus is chaotic evil, though he wasn't always. Previously the Oracle for the Mountain Pride, Dionysus was driven mad by the voices that spoke through him. Hera was forced to imprison him when he was found to be plotting to light the pride aflame. She had known that Dionysus had not been pleased when he was named as the next Oracle; she was only a child at the time, but she still remembered how he argued against it. Perhaps that hatred for the pride forcing the position upon him never faded, and only heightened as he was forced to share his body with ancestors as a vessel for them to speak through. Something in him snapped along the way, and Dionysus had planned to drag everyone down with him, already becoming more reclusive and cruel. Since he has been imprisoned, he has only fallen further into madness. Sometimes, he seems almost reasonable, while other times, he seems utterly consumed by madness. Odysseus has tried to urge Hera to kill him, saying it is crueler to keep him alive and imprisoned, but she doesn't agree. A part of her seems to hope Dionysus is still redeemable, despite his anger and violent acts. He has even tried to attack those that bring him food, going so far as to try and violently attack those who haven't even entered his cell. He wants to see the Mountain Pride fall and taste freedom once again.
