Grass/foliage process

Postby qwertyo » Sun Apr 26, 2020 9:47 pm

Nobody asked for a process thing but here you go anyways lol

Used just the round brush and pen pressure for this, also all done on one layer. You could still do this if you don't have pen pressure, you just need to manually fiddle with the opacity on your brush more.

I... have no idea how to explain myself lol I'm sorry

edit: okay to prove to ya'll that you don't need pen pressure, I did this again with no pen pressure. nothin' but the round brush and fiddling with brush size/opacity:

ah man, if you do draw something, show me! I love seeing how people interpret my process things, haha

shishou wrote:no but this is actually really helpful since i struggle a lot with greenery rip ,,

ah, well I'm glad this is still helpful despite the lack of any explanation!

hah, that's not the first time someone said my process/tuts reminded them of that image!

*points at first post*

I did this again without pen pressure to prove that you don't need pen pressure to draw! Of course it's a bit harder, but it can be done!

This is really helpful ;u; I recently started experimenting with landscape and greenery and I was sort of just going with the flow. But this really helped. If you have time, maybe you can do a small tutorial on trees or rocks? ;u; Just a suggestion.

Love your art OuO
