this is Ben, he's a former police dog but after an accident involving the loss of his hind legs his fur turned grey. on the planet only animals with colorful fur can stay, after injury or trauma the color fades and the creature will be shipped off to go live somewhere else so as to not disturb the residents. this is done as quietly as possible, covered up and they only tell the family what has happened, if they try to tell anyone they are sent away too. Ben's job was rounding up anyone who tried to resist being sent away. but in a fire he lost his back legs and half of his tail, he was moved to doing paperwork instead because his mobility was more limited. slowly his brilliant blue got duller and duller until it was colorless, only grey. they were sending him away, he tried to fight, tried to argue. normally he was on the other end, laughing at those who tried to escape, thinking that they were just doing what was best for the happiness of the majority. but now he didn't feel that way, he didn't want to go, to never see his family again but because of how he looked. he wondered how he had thought that this was okay, but now his friends, people he knew were going to take him. take him somewhere far away and he'd never come back. but he was the best of the best, he dodged an weaved and outwitted the other officers for months, but finally they caught him, there were many officers and only one Ben, said officers also had at least four working legs. they sent him away to a moon for a planet called "earth" he was given a nice house in a quaint town to live out his life peacefully. but he wanted to see him family, not his friends though, they were the ones who stuck him here. he was banned from leaving the moon... by legal means at least.
