"In a remote and largely unexplored island to the east of Africa, researchers made a large discovery: a new subspecies of the African Serval! Similar in size and build, these cats (dubbed Servals of the Hidden Isle or SHI's) are often confused for a regular African Serval. However, as the exploration of the island continued, researchers were amazed to find a variety of coats and patterns within this subspecies. They also quickly learned that the SHI's were much friendlier than their cousins, frequently approaching the researchers with curious and even affectionate dispositions.

• As of now, there is no limit to how many SHI's you are allowed to own
• At this time, SHI's may not be sold or traded (a trading system will be set up in the near future!)

Rarity Guide
* note: any eye color is allowed at any rarity (including heterochromia, multi-colored eyes, etc.)
* note: scars are allowed at any rarity and are not considered a genetic trait

Update 04/01/2020: I've decided to re-work the rarity system, so for now I'll just be listing "discovered" traits

Discovered Base Colors
• golden, fawn, cream (standard)
• white, silver, smoke, buff, chocolate (common)
• blue-gray, mocha, ginger, cinnamon (uncommon)

Discovered Marking Colors
• black, medium brown, dark brown (standard)
• light brown, cream (common)
• white (uncommon)

Discovered Markings
• classic serval (standard)
• tiger, cheetah, leopard, snow leopard (common)
• marbled tabby, points, spotting-ocicat (uncommon)

Discovered Mutations
• medium-length fur (common)
• bobbed tail, longer tail (uncommon)
• piebaldism, "corrupt" piebaldism (rare)

Rarity System
• standard = appears very frequently
• common = appears often
• uncommon = appears every 10th serval (with the exception of special events & customs)
• rare = appears every 50th serval (with the exceptions of special events & customs)
• very rare = appears every 100th serval (with the exceptions of special events & customs)
• legendary = appears only in events

• Will there ever be a nursery/kit lines?
A: Maybe! I'm hoping that I'll be able to commission some at some point.

• Do I need to create a storage thread for my SHI's?
A: It's not required, but highly encouraged!

• When will a trading system be introduced?
A: I'm hoping to get it worked out within the next week or two- just want to get this up and running first!

• When will customs be introduced?
A: I'm still trying to work out a good system for customs. Hopefully soon, though!

• Can I be a staff member?
A: Keep your eye out for staff openings! They should be coming pretty soon c;
