Orthrus and Oti stood tall by the gates of hell, watching the movement of the souls closely.

"Name?" They said gruffly, look down upon the soul staring up at them in exhaustion and fear.

"S-Stewart Cloves..?" The being stuttered, flinching as the large dog opened the gates.

"Enjoy your stay." Orthrus said, then pushed the soul through.

"3. 2. 1" The dogs muttered, then walked pass the gates and shut them, content with their work.

They walked through the crowds of souls, watching them part and make a path.
The souls were cowering and
hiding their faces when Orthrus passed.
'They really don't like us, huh?' they thought as the approached the House of Hades.

"I'm off my shift, boss." The great dog said sharply, trying not to make eye contact with Hades.

"Good. You may go." The man replied, and waved his hand in a shooing motion.

Orthrus and Oti padded to their den, then sat down.
"It's quite lonely here" they said to them self, sadly.
They wanted to love someone, but guarding the gates to Hell isn't really a thing someone can love you for.

They thought about it for a while, then put their heads on their paws and fell asleep.
