You see, I needed a reminder on how to draw lips, but for some strange reason, I don't feel like this helped.
I'm looking at this project, and it just didn't seem to help me figure out how to draw lips! Maybe it's because its realism?? I don't know, but all I can say is that faces get me. On paper, they don't, but digitally, oh... oh no.
That, and this picture also doesn't seem to have that pop that it needs. I think I'll try going back and editing it further. The actual skin needs more attention anyways.
What do you all think?

I know you don't like the skin but I love how much less detailed it is compared to the lips. All I would add is maybe some bright highlights, like glitter or some kind of face jewelry or facepaint for a bit of contrast.

Perhaps some sort of piercing or, as you said, glitter, then? I'll be at this drawing again tomorrow, for certain, and I'll take your advice into consideration. Thank you! 😊
