I've tried like three times to do a finished, polished piece of my masks character, Quarry, yet the only thing I managed to complete was a sketch.

Ah well it's a polished sketch, meaning I put more care into it than a usual sketch (Lots of erasing and less rushed) but it's not quite lineart quality. Normally my sketches look like this.

I usually have a red first really messy sketch then a nicer blue one over it (then I line it off of the blue sketch).

P.p.s. I really adore your art!! Its really good! Like I said I wish I could draw something like that! ( dont even get me started on how bad I am with backgrounds!!)

Thank you again, then! That looks really good! I'd probably try to do more color-coded sketches but I'm nowhere near as organized.

Yeah, really! I can tell, the amount of full bodies you draw is- wow, I don't have the perseverance for that.

Aw, thank you so much! <3 (Backgrounds can be a pain but it's a-okay to simplify things! I usually decide on a background and try to find simple, key elements that convey the settings. For example, a city has buildings, and those are basically a bunch of varying squares, that works. They also have cars, but those are a little complex, so instead maybe a powerline? Stop sign? Much simpler and easy to block in. If it still doesn't look good? The blur tool is your friend, it'll look like a somewhat realistically blurry photo.)
